Fiesta Bowl 2006

5 years ago Jonathan Charles came into this world in the midst of the Fiesta Bowl, Notre Dame vs. Ohio State.
I love college sports and wasn't about to turn off a great game just because I was in labor. With each labor pain I imagined how hard it must be to get tackled by a line backer. Watching the game kept my mind off the pain, it really was a distraction, so much better than lying there waiting for the next contraction to begin.
But once I held that "little" (HA!) guy in my arms, there was no distracting me from the beautiful miracle of life.
